spoiler, what?  hubert effing keller, ya'll.  so the judges aren't nearly as mean, but i wonder if it isn't because these chefs are...real?  and i think i love tom colicchio and his intro commentary on each chef.  and they're so cute with each other!  or is it just the first group and their guy love?

I'll make this short, because I didn't sleep well last night, but the thoughts, they run through my head.  Especially as I contemplate how potential snow tomorrow is seriously going to screw with my schedule.  I have two long meetings scheduled!

Anyhow.

On Top Chef: I was right, and I feel terrible for being right.  Fucking Ilan.  But I did want to try his squab and prawn dish.  Who doesn't love the ingredients?  You put that much decadence together...I can't believe Elia managed to turn me against her so completely.  Why is she such a bitch?

On Top Design: Holy shit.  Where's Bijal?  I might need to skip over to her blog to comment seriously.  First impression: meh mixed with ooooh.  The designers vary between safe and WTF?!  I don't know who the front runner is yet...it's not like Project Runway!  I picked the losers, easy, but not the people who are rocking it.  My tastes are different.  But I'll tell you what. 

The people: oh, it's so about the drama. 

The Todd Oldham: What is he on?  Who watches 30 Rock?  Am I the only one that thinks Mr. Oldham sounded like he was doing a 'Kenneth' impression?  He and Jack McBrayer even kind of look alike.  Mercy.

I have to keep watching, because hello, it's Top Design, but I just don't know.

ETA:  Who else reads TWOP?  Witness: Kenodd Oldham the Page.  I need to read the forums, it would appear.  I'm not the only one who heard the similarities!
