for today. or at least for the next couples hours while i recuperate from shoveling for two and a half hours. effing suburbia! effing long driveways! effing snow that's still falling and will continue to coat my driveway! i thought i might wait, but i knew shoveling five inches of snow now and two to four inches of snow later is preferable to an ass ton of snow at once. everything hurts. and i'm wet. can't even muster energy to draw a hot bath to work out the ache. can only slump here on center island while typing on trusty laptop. myuuuuuuhhuhuhhh.

the first is your everyday shabu shabu/hot pot/steam boat. that i had over a month ago, i think. the second is another relatively pedestrian tom yum-like soup with water spinach and tilapia. i drool a little thinking about soup.
oh no. can't waste liquid. must stay hydrated.
